Character Building.

Empowering youth to embrace their individuality, remain confident with who they are, and learn how to set and accomplish goals.

Entrepreneurship.

Giving youth the opportunity to learn entrepreneurship, business, and financial skills. Learning how to start, manage, market, and promote their own business.

We are a 501(c)(3) organization committed to empowering our youth to be successful creative thinkers, and problem solvers.

Did you know that Since 2008, more than 80% of schools nationwide have experienced cuts to their budgets. These budget cuts are forcing schools to choose what is most important to their student’s education. For example, during the 1999-2000 school year, 20% of schools offered dance and theatre classes, and 87% of schools offered visual arts classes.”

Our Values

YEP We Design is committed to…

Respect For You

We respect people for who they are.  We encourage their development, and we respect the community around us.

Creative and Open Minded

Don’t be afraid to take risks and embrace your creativity. Mistakes happen, that creates room for more opportunities and growth. If you don’t take risks, you won’t make mistakes, therefore, you won’t grow.

Accountability

We’re responsible for ourselves, the community, and our families.

Be Humble

Leave the egos at the door and never take anything for granted. There will always be challenges, but it’s important to always remain humble, and carry yourself with respected confidence, and to treat others the way you want to be treated.

Dare To Be You

We encourage you to be you no matter what life throws at you and no matter what other’s opinions are about you.

Community Focused

We serve and help the powerless in our communities.

Did you know that…Visual arts classes taken in elementary school help develop a child’s motor skills, which are crucial and help develop these skills when children use tools such as scissors, pencils, and paintbrushes. The same also happens with language skills. By identifying colors, shapes, and descriptive words, and then discussing it with a friend or teacher, children can develop their social skills, and help increase their vocabulary at a young age.
