Entrepreneurial Mindset
Youth Entrepreneurs defines entrepreneurship as finding ways to create value for themselves and others in all spheres of life. This program is designed to encourage students to think and act like an entrepreneur at all times while learning creative problem solving skills.
Age group: 15-18
Duration– 12 Week Program

Entrepreneurship Program Sessions
Orientation
Parents and students will be introduced to the program and what to expect. During this time participants can meet and get to know one another.
Session One Eye Spy
Entrepreneurs learn through observation. The goal of this session is to train students to be observant of the market around them and decide on the type of business they want to start.
Session Two S.W.O.T. Analysis
In this session, students will complete a S.W.O.T. Analysis for their business. A S.W.O.T. Analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) is a common business tool used by entrepreneurs, as well as corporate companies to identify internal and external factors that will affect the company’s performance either currently or in the future.
Session Three Savor The Flavor
In this session we will introduce the Marketing Mix to students. We will discuss the Research and Development involved with market planning and analysis
Session Four Branding, Logo Design and Identity
Students will explore graphic design fundamentals and learn how to create their own logo and brand identity touch points.
Session Five Brand Protection with Trezanay Atkins of tmalaw
Students will explore and learn the importance of brand protection, and how to handle the legal necessities of their brand.
Session Six Brand Photoshoot with Photos By Hoskins
During this session students will learn the fundamentals of photography with Ashley Hoskins owner and CEO of PBH and learn how to shoot their brand products.
Final Day: Market Day
During Market Day students will launch their business in a low-risk environment. It allows them to gain hands-on experience—they test their ideas, knowledge, and skills in a low risk environment—and fires up their enthusiasm and passion for entrepreneurship.
